Actress Brooke Burke recently opened up to In Touch magazine about how much she is enjoying being a mom to her newborn son, Shaya.

After having three girls, Burke was excited to add a baby boy to her brood on March 5th. “We needed some testosterone, for sure. I knew how important it was for David to have a son and giving him that was really special. We’re just blessed.”

Burke has one daughter, 15-month-old Rain, with her fiance David Charvet. She was two other daughters, 8-year-old Neriah and 6-year-old Sierra, from her ex-hubby, plastic surgeon Dr. Garth Fisher.

Who does little Shaya look like? “When he was born, he was the spitting image of David,” Burke says. “He’s changing a little. I think he has my nose, which all my kids sort of have.”

Will the couple have more children? “Now that I have my son, I’m content and happy,” Burke says. “I would never say never, because rearing them has been amazing, but I think four kids is plenty.”

Actress and model Brooke Burke and her fiance, actor David Charvet, have decided on a name for their 3-week-old son.

Burke makes this announcement on her website:

“You heard it here first!  We have finally settled on a name.  We waited our whole lives for our son, and couldn’t find the perfect fit.  Poor guy! Now it’s official.

We played with so many different names, and both loved Shaya the most. It means God’s gift in Hebrew.  David came up with a middle name, Braven, which I really like.  I want to give him part of my name too, so I am thinking about double Bs in the middle like my initials, Braven-Burke. He is the last Charvet to carry on David’s family name.  He is also the first boy in David’s family, the little brother of three princesses, and my youngest.  Ya think he is gonna be spoiled?!?!

We haven’t agreed on the middle name yet, but for all those who have been asking, Shaya Charvet it is!

Actress Brooke Burke blogs on her Baboosh Baby website about giving birth to her fourth child and why he remains nameless. Burke, 36, and her fiance David Charvet welcomed a boy on March 5th. She and Charvet also has a daughter together, 14-month-old Heaven Rain.  Burke and her ex-husband have two daughters, 7-year-old Neriah and 5-year-old Sierra.
Brooke writes:

“Hi,

As you already know, we have had our son and he is truly amazing!  We are all quite sleep deprived, but nothing we were not expecting!!! Thank you so much to all of you that have sent congrats and sweet wishes for my family. We really appreciate all the feedback.  I am amazed at how the Baboosh network has grown and the kindness that I get from all of you.

My birth was quick and easy, thank God!!! I didn’t even get through my second set of pushes, and out he came.  Can you believe that we have waited all our lives for a son and we still have not decided on a name.  Neriah and Sierra welcomed him with excitement and open arms, but Rain is having a tough time.  She is a bit aggressive by nature, and does not understand why she cannot pull him out of his basket.  First, she was mad at me for 2 days for leaving her for the night in the hospital, then I cam home with the “intruder”.  She is getting better, but there sure are a lot of feelings to take care of in my home.

Tomorrow is our Brit Milah.  Poor Guy! The Jew that decided to plan a party for their son on the eighth day after giving birth obviously never had a baby before! LOL.”

Original Post: Actress Halle Berry welcomed a baby girl this morning at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, reports People.com. The little tot, whose name has yet to be announced, is the first for Berry, 41, and her Versace model boyfriend Gabriel Aubry.

Although Star magazine is reporting the baby weighs 7 lbs. 4 oz. no other official information has been released. Berry’s rep did confirm she had the baby and “is doing great.”

Star magazine gives this detailed report of her labor: “Halle had come to the hospital at 4am in the morning because the felt like she was going into labor. It was a bit scary because her blood pressure was skyrocketing and everyone was a little tense. She’s a diabetic so that was complicating matters as well. The doctors checked the fetal heart rate and everything seemed okay. After a while Halle’s blood pressure came down. She wasn’t dilating anymore so at around 2:45pm they let her go home. 

“Halle felt her contractions come on a lot more intensely later that night so she came back to the hospital at 11:00pm Saturday night. 

“Halle was overcome with emotion when she finally held her little girl. She said everything she had gone through was worth that moment. The tears kept coming as Halle didn’t even want the nurses to take her baby to clean her up and measure. It was a truly beautiful scene.”

Survivor’s Johnny Fairplay and his fiancée, Top Model contestant Michelle Deighton, welcomed their first child together on January 16th.

The reality star couple, who plan on tying the knot this summer, named their daughter Piper Addison.

“This is the most amazing and wonderful thing,” Deighton tells PageSix.com. “Piper Addison is beautiful and I couldn’t want for anything more…Now I just want to be skinny again!”

Fairplay tells reporters, “I am so happy, this is crazy! I am a dad, I am about to go and smoke a cigar!”

Resident Evil actress/model Milla Jovovich and her fiance Paul Anderson welcomed daughter Ever Gabo J. Anderson four weeks ago.

Milla, 31 explains the meaning behind her daughter’s unusual name on her website:

“Hey everyone! just a brief message to let you know that we have the most gorgeous little baby girl! her name is Ever Gabo J. Anderson and she was 7 pounds 8 ounces when she was born! the name Ever is a scottish boy’s name, Paul has scottish blood in him (not to mention two tartans in his family!) so we wanted to give her a name that reflected her “celtic” roots, while her middle name Gabo -pronounced “Gabeau”- is a mixture of my parents names! the first two letters are after my mom’s first name, Galina and the last two letters are after my dad’s first name Bogie! we just got home from the hospital with her yesterday, so when i get a bit more settled i will write everyone to let you know about the whole experience! thanks again for all your support and beautiful wishes!

Resident Evil actress/model Milla Jovovich and her fiance, director Paul Anderson, welcomed a daughter yesterday morning, reports Usmagazine.com.

Weighing a healthy 7 lbs., 8 oz., Ever Gabo is the first child for Jovovich, 31, and Anderson, 42. “Everything went really smooth,” a source reports.

Original Post: Red Hot Chili Pepper front man Anthony Kiedis, 44, and his girlfriend, model Heather Christie, 22, welcomed a boy this morning.

Perez Hilton reports the baby boy was born in a Los Angeles Hospital. The name and other details have not yet been released. This is the first child for the couple.

Update: People magazine is now reporting that it was announced at Friday’s Patriots game that their son is named Jonathan Brady.

Original posting: As we reported earlier, Bridget Moynahan and her ex-boyfriend, New England quarterback Tom Brady, welcomed a baby boy yesterday.

E! News has reported that the couple has decided on the name William. The little tyke, who was two weeks overdue, arrived by caesarean section because he was laying across her uterus (instead of head down) and attempts to alter his position were not successful.

“Mother and baby are doing well,” her rep reports. Little William arrived weighing a healthy 7 pounds, 14 ounces and measuring 22 1/4 inches in length.

Brady arrived at the hospital carrying a large bouquet of orchids and white flowers, but missed the birth by only a few minutes. “It was odd. Here was this man with this beautiful bunch of flowers on this happy occasion—but he looked pretty sad,” a source tells In Touch online.
