OK! Magazine has posted 6 new photos from the photoshoot of Jamie Lynn Spears and her newborn daughter, Maddie Briann.

Born on June 19th, little Maddie is the first child for the 17-year-old actress and her fiance Casey Aldridge. “I love taking care of her,” Jamie Lynn gushes. “It is so much fun. I just want to hug her and kiss her, and I’m happy all the time.

How is the new father handling his role? Jamie Lynn reveals that Casey’s fatherhood instincts were there from the beginning. “As soon as she was born, he scooped her right up and was rocking her,” she tells OK! magazine. “It was amazing. Guys are always a little awkward, and he was perfect with her.”

General Hospital actor Ingo Rademacher (Jax) and his fiance Ehiku welcomed their first child, a son, on July 11th.

The baby boy was named (drumroll, please) Peanut Kai Rademacher. He weighed in a 7lbs, 6 oz and measured 20 1/2 inches in length.

“Dad, mom and baby are all great,” a spokesperson tells SoapOperaDigest.com. “The cast and crew of GENERAL HOSPITAL are very excited for Ingo, Ehiku and the entire Rademacher family. We wish them all the best during this important milestone.”

Thoughts on the name Peanut? He definitely wins the prize this year as the strangest celebrity baby name!

Dr. Michel Sussman, the doctor who delivered the twins of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, told reporters that the couple “were talking, they were together,” during the c-section.

“It was an epidural, so [Angelina} was awake and speaking and laughing. They were happy,” he says.

The doctor even referred to papa Pitt as his “assistant,” and said he cut the babies’ umbilical cords.

“He was…perfectly calm, totally determined, very pleased to be at the birth of his children, very moved and very emotional,” he says of Pitt.

Jolie delivered fraternal twins Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon on Saturday in Nice, France.

As far as when Jolie will leave the hospital, the doctor said he did not know at this point. “She will stay for a few days. You know, in Europe it isn’t like in the United States, where the patients go home after three days. They will stay a bit longer until everything is okay.”

Did you feel like you had plenty of time to recover in the hospital after having a baby, or do you wish you would have been able to stay longer?

 

 

It looks like the press finally got it right! Angelina Jolie did undergo a c-section last night and delivered twins, a boy and a girl. Brad Pitt was by her side and from what we can tell there were no major complications.

Angelina’s doctor told the Associated Press that Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline are perfect! Knox weighs 5.03 pounds and Vivienne weighs 5 pounds. The babies are small but definitely within normal range for twins.

We don’t know where Knox Leon came from but it is obvious to assume that little Vivienne was named after her maternal grandmother, Marcheline, who lost her battle with cancer in 2007. Now, any guesses on how much THESE baby pictures will sell for?

Singing sensation Usher shares with Essence magazine the first photos of his 7-month-old son, Usher Raymond V. The 29-year-old opens up about how being a father has changed him and his new life with his wife Tameka.

On what has changed him more - his new wife or new baby?
“They’re both linked—I can’t have one without the other. But the one thing that changed me the most is having a wife. Our child is an extension of that union. Because now I represent what he is to become. He’s gonna admire me, he’s gonna look up to me. He’s gonna say, “I wanna be”—or he should say—”I wanna be like my father. I wanna be a man of valor. I wanna possess what my father has as a man.” To get married was a choice. To have a child is a responsibility.”

On how he will be different from his own absent father (who was a crack addict): “Just simply being there. I don’t judge my father because I forgave him for anything he’d ever done to hurt me unintentionally. My father and I had a very short amount of time together throughout my entire life, but the most valuable time was during his final days. He asked me to forgive him for not being there. He asked me to give him a chance, give him a shot because he loved me, and he had always loved me. But it was very difficult for him to be in the situation he was in and be the example he wanted me to follow. So he intentionally stayed away. And he was kept away from me too. He didn’t like it, but he didn’t fight it because he knew he wasn’t living right. ”

Sweet Valley High actress Cynthia Daniel, 32, and K-Ville actor Cole Hauser are the proud parents of a baby boy named Colt Daniel Hauser.

Born June 12th in California, this is the second child for the couple. Big brother Ryland is 3 1/2.

The new mom has given up acting for a career in photography.

MMMmmmm baby! Isaac Hanson, the oldest brother of the Hanson singing group, has welcomed his second son with his wife Nikki on July 1st, reports People.com.

James Monroe Hanson was born in Tulsa, OK (my old stomping grounds) and weighed in at 8 lbs., 11 oz. He is welcomed home by his big brother, 1-year-old Clark Everett Hanson. Both of their sons reportedly go by their middles names.

“The addition of Monroe to our family is incredible and exciting,” the proud papa gushes. “With Monroe and Everett being so close in age, it will be great to watch them grow up together. Two little boys is going to be twice the fun.”

The 27-year-old singer had a health scare in December when a pulmonary embolism required him to have rib resection surgery. He is reportedly healthy and ready to promote their new album by touring this fall.

The newest Hanson baby will be the sixth baby for the Hanson brothers. The youngest brother, Zac, has one child and the middle brother, Taylor, has three children.

Matthew McConaughey’s rep has confirmed that he and his girlfriend, Brazilian model Camila Alves, have named their baby boy Levi Alves McConaughey.

He explains to OK! magazine the meaning behind the name: “Levi was another name for the apostle Matthew in The Bible. They were, in fact, two names for the same person. Our son was born at 6:22 pm, and this particular time represents my favorite verse in the book of Matthew in The Bible: ‘If thy eye be single, thy whole body will be full of light.’” He also reveals that he wanted Camila’s last name to be a part of their baby’s name, “We wanted to incorporate her family name.”

“A healthy baby boy was born,” the proud papa says. “Camila and I were side by side the entire time. We are both tired and elated, and are so happy to have created the greatest  miracle in the world — Having a child and making a family. Now comes the greatest adventure — raising one, together.”

 

Boy, J-Lo’s twins are already world travelers!  The proud parents have not only been spotted in Spain, but now they have been seen, toting the tots, in Italy as well!  Over the weekend the proud parents took their children and did some vacationing in Italy, actually giving the photographers that laid in wait a photo opportunity.

The twins who are almost six months old seemed to be enjoying the Italian sunshine, after all, they aren’t let out that much!  Jennifer and her husband Marc Anthony have simply been enjoying their time as new parents and have only recently been seen getting out since the birth of the babies.  We can only assume that for the most part all four of them have been staying quietly indoors.

Matthew McConaughey and his girlfriend Camila Alves welcomed their first child into the world Monday afternoon at an undisclosed hospital in Los Angeles, CA.  The baby who is boy and not yet named was born at 6:22 pm and weighed 7lbs 4oz.

The proud parents should be leaving the hospital within the next couple of days and taking their new baby home so that they can begin their life as a family.  I am sure that within a couple of weeks we will see Matthew and his new son on the cover of a magazine so that the world can share in his excitement.
