New dad David Spade welcomes a baby girl
Saturday Night Live alum David Spade, 45, is now on diaper duty! Spade’s baby mama Jillian Grace, 22, delivered a baby girl in Missouri on August 26, the actor’s rep confirmed to Usmagazine.com today. Her name has not yet been released.
The unmarried comic confessed to TMZ in January that he had a “brief relationship with Jillian Grace.” Spade may have had some initial uncertainty about whether the baby was actually his. However, he added, “If that is true, that I am the father of her child, then I will accept responsibility.”
Apparently, since then, Spade’s fatherhood has been confirmed and he has stepped up to the plate. The comic’s rep told People, “David and Jillian have been in close contact throughout her pregnancy and he plans to go see the baby during his first break from shooting ‘Rules of Engagement.’” With Spade’s comedic flair, no doubt he’ll have his darling girl smiling and giggling in no time.
