Playing the baby name game
I remember when I was in school there were always too many Michael’s and Amanda’s. It was common to find a class room that had at least 2-3 kids sharing a name, making it sometimes confusing for teachers…even though somehow us kids could always keep them straight.
When the babies born today start school in a few years they will not have that issue I don’t think. There are so many unusual names floating around now for babies. Look at two of the Bradgelina kids for example - Shiloh and Knox. How many Shiloh’s and Knox’s do you think will be in your child’s kindergarten class. Honor belongs to Jessica Alba and then you have the Cruise baby girl Suri. Throw in Nicole Kidman’s new daughter, Sunday, and it will be a classroom make up of truly unique children.
It seems as if the stars are starting to get a bit wild when choosing names for their babies. They are wanting unique and pretty names, but it seems as if all it is really doing is making them stand out more, be talked about more, and be in the public eye more. But hey, maybe that is their REAL goal (even though they would vehemently deny it).
