The scoop on how Sunday Rose came to be
Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman are finally speaking out on how they came up with the unusual name of Sunday Rose for their new baby girl. Nicole’s father explains it all, and as they say, “Father konows best”!
“There was a lady named Sunday Reed who was a prominent patron of the arts in Victoria,” Antony Kidman tells Australia’s Daily Telegraph.
It seems that Sunday Reed was a big name in the arts environment around Austrailia and when Nicole’s parents mentioned the name to Nicole and Keith they fell in love with it and the history behind it. Around the time the baby was born they decided that it was the perfect name for their little girl.
The middle name, Rose, is in honor of Keith’s grandmother that has passed away.
