American Idol alum Clay Aiken and his friend, music producer Jaymes Foster, are expecting a baby together, reports People.com.

Jaymes, the sister of producer David Foster, met Aiken during American Idol. David Foster’s rep confirms the pregnancy news. “The story is true. It is true Clay is the father. She was artificially inseminated by Clay. She’s due in August. They have been friends ever since American Idol, when they worked together.”

It’s official! Newlyweds Pete Wentz, 28, and Ashlee Simpson, 23, have confirmed they are indeed expecting a child together.

Wentz breaks the news on his website:

“While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm that we are expecting our first child. This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family.”

This comes on the heels of Ashlee just “officially” changing her last name to Wentz. No word on exactly when Ashlee is due, but she is probably in her fourth or fifth month of pregnancy.

It looks like little Apple and Moses Martin just got two more friends to play with while daddy Chris Martin is touring with his hit band, Coldplay.

Coldplay drummer Will Champion (pictured, second from the left) and his wife Marianne welcomed twins, a boy and a girl, on May 7th, reports the Daily Telegraph. Twin tots Juno and Rex will be welcomed home by their sister, 2-year-old Ava Mae.

Champion will soon be busy touring to promote Coldplay’s new album, Viva La Vida, so hopefully Gwyneth Paltrow will arrange some playdates.

Sabrina, the Teenage Witch actress Caroline Rhea, 44, and her boyfriend, Costaki Economopoulos (try to say that name 5 tmes!) are expecting their first child together, reports People.com.

Rhea is working on her fall series Sordid Lives, while Costaki, a stand-up comedian, will be playing in the World Series of Poker

No word yet on due date or sex of the baby.

Kingston James McGregor Rossdale, the celebrity baby of No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani and her rocker hubby Gavin Rossdale, turns 2 today.

The cute tyke, pictured here with his daddy Gavin, will be welcoming a sibling this summer. Stefani is pregnant with the couple’s second child and due this summer. As with Kingston, they are not finding out the sex until delivery.

Babytalk magazine has honored Nicole Richie with a Golden Pacifier Award for her parenting skills. Richie and her boyfriend, Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden, are parents to 4-month-old daughter Harlow Winter.

“Honouring Nicole Richie with a Babytalk Golden Pacifier Award might come as a surprise to some, but we felt that she deserved some recognition for her turnaround since becoming a mom,” Babytalk Editor-in-chief Lisa Moran explains. “She has grown up a lot since the arrival of little Harlow, and her creation of the Richie-Madden Children’s Foundation has demonstrated her efforts to set a good example by shining a spotlight on important issues affecting today’s families.”

Richie was a permanent fixture on the Hollywood party scene prior to becoming pregnant with Harlow. The socialite’s past includes rehab for heroin addiction and spending a brief stint in jail for DUI.

Since becoming a mom, she has seemed to have turned her life around and has become a doting mom to her daughter. She has even seemed to have a calming influence on her BFF, Paris Hilton.

 Alves, 26, and her boyfriend, actor Matthew McConaughey, expect their first child in late June. They are reportedly not finding out the sex of the baby.

Dirt actress Laura Allen, 34, and her husband, model Bruce Weyman, are expecting their first child together.

“We are overjoyed to bring the first grandchild into both families this summer,” the former All My Children actress tells People.com. “We don’t know boy or girl, but we are pretty sure our baby already has a palate for Indian food and Pinkberry.”

Married for 2 years, the couple has not revealed a due date.

Actor Adam Sandler and his wife Jackie are expecting their second child together. The You Don’t mess with the Zohan star told Jay Leno on The Tonight Show that his wife is four months along. The couple has one child together, 2-year-old Sadie Madison.

Sandler jokes that her morning sickness is scaring their daughter.  “My wife gets it very bad. She vomits a lot,” he tells Jay Leno. “And my little daughter is always looking at her and is nervous to see her mom sick like that. So I had I try to relax my daughter, just saying, ‘Mommy’s not like bad sick. She just has something growing in her that’s eventually gonna shoot out her vagina and take half your toys.’ ”

How goes on to say that he is doing his part in helping her through the morning sickness. He says he gives her back rubs and reassures her by saying, “”We’re gonna have another beautiful baby, I love you, thanks for doing this.”

“She’s a good lady, my wife,” Sandler adds. “She deals with the fact that I look like the way I look.”

Californication actress Natascha McElhone is “absolutely devastated” after the dead body of her husband, plastic surgeon Dr. Martin Hirigoyen Kelly, was found at the couple’s London home yesterday. Kelly, 42, believed to have died of a heart attack.

McElhone, 36, is currently pregnant with the couple’s third child, reports the Daily Mail. They have two sons together: 8-year-old Theo and 5-year-old Otis. The actress, who also starred in The Truman Show, was in L.A. filming when the news of her husband’s death reached her. She is currently on her way back to London.

The couple, who friends describe as having a “fairy tale relationship” were about to celebrate their tenth wedding anniversary. No other details, such as due date or sex of the baby, have been released.
