Jeri Ryan welcomes a daughter
Shark actress Jeri Ryan, 40, and her husband, French chef Christophe Eme, welcomed a daughter on Sunday, reports People.com.
The baby girl, named Gisele Eme, was born in Los Angeles weighing 7 lbs., 13 oz.
“Both parents are thrilled,” her rep reports. “Jeri is resting comfortably and Christophe is playing the part of proud new papa quite well.”
Married since last June, Gisele is the first child for the couple. Ryan has a 13-year-old son named Alex from a previous relationship.
Ryan had previously said she wanted to name her daughter a “French name that sounds good to an American ear, and vice versa.” I think Gisele fits the bill. What do you think of the name?
