Deserate Housewives actor Kyle MacLachlan to be a father
Desperate Housewives actor Kyle MacLachlan and his producer wife Desiree Gruber are pregnant with their first child, People.com reports.
Gruber, 39, met MacLachlan, 48, while in the waiting room of a chiropractor’s office. “We just started talking,” she says. “We always say, ‘Thank goodness Kyle had a bad back.” The two have been married for six years, and are expecting their first child in July.
“We are really excited,” Gruber, who is executive producer of Project Runway, gushes. MacLachlan echoes her sentiment: “We are thrilled. I’m so excited that I’ve been telling anyone who will listen!”
They aren’t the only ones who are excited, Project Runway host and supermodel Heidi Klum is happy for the couple. “She’s so excited,” Gruber says. “Heidi wants all her friends to have kids. She wants her kids to hang out with our kids.”
