Bluebell’s red carpet baptism
When your mom is former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, even your christening is bound to be a red carpet event.
The ceremony is taking place in London this weekend with celebrities including ex-Spice Girls’ Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice), Melanie Chisholm (Sporty Spice) and pregnant Emma Bunton (Baby Spice). Melanie Brown (Scary Spice) was also invited but will not be able to make it since she just gave birth to her own little girl.
Who will be the godparents to 11-month-old Bluebell Madonna? Victoria Beckham and Kenny Goss, George Michael’s partner, have been tapped for the honorable position.
A friend tells The Sun: “Victoria was thrilled to be asked to be godmother. Although they fell out when Geri walked out on the Spice Girls years ago, they became really close friends again. Geri’s relied on her old friend for advice on motherhood and is delighted Victoria is flying over.”
