Baby shower for Mel “Scary Spice” Brown
Melanie “Scary” Spice Brown was the guest of honor at her baby shower at the Beverly Hills Hotels on Friday.
Brown, 31, is due in a month with the baby she says is ex-boyfriend Eddie Murphy’s child. He is not claiming responsibility for the child until a paternity test confirms he is the father. Murphy’s current girlfriend, Tracey Edmonds, told a radio station last week: “Without me getting too deep into it, they had a quick relationship before I even got into that, before I got into a relationship with Eddie. So that’s like their business that’s going on. There’ll be a paternity test and if it’s his then he’ll be responsible.”
The mom-to-be put the “baby-father” drama behind and enjoyed herself along with 30 guests. No word on the guest list, so I am wondering if any ex-Spice Girls made an appearance? Guests enjoyed a cake in the shape of a pregnant woman wearing an animal-print loin cloth and Dom Perignon champagne, reports People.
