Anna Nicole Smith dead at age 39

annanicole.jpgAfter a short life filled with great highs and tragic lows, People has confirmed that Anna Nicole Smith has passed away today.

Smith, 39, reportedly collapsed and was rushed to the hospital after being found unresponsive in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Her boyfriend, Howard K. Stern, was staying with her at the hotel. The couple’s  5-month-old daughter, Dannielynn Hope, was not at the hotel.

Her attorney, Ron Rale, reports that, “She hasn’t been well the past few days, she’s had cold and flu symptoms.” The cause of death has not been confirmed, however some sources (including Perez Hilton) are speculating it was related to a drug overdose.

Smith’s daughter, Dannielynn, is reportedly being cared for by a close friend in the Bahamas. The infant was born just days before her son, Daniel, died of a drug overdose. Anna Nicole has been battling her former boyfriend, Larry Birkhead, over the rightful paternity of little Dannielynn. Larry has filed a paternity lawsuit claming he, not Howard K. Stern, is the rightful father.

There is no doubt that Anna Nicole was a woman who had many problems that either she brought on herself, or that seemed to follow her around. I was hoping that she would be able to straighten her life out for the sake of her little girl, however we will now never know for sure. My thoughts go out to all her friends, family and, most of all, her daughter Dannielynn.

[...] Police have released a statement saying that no illegal drugs, only prescription medications, were found in the possession of Anna Nicole Smith. They go on to say that the autopsy showed that there were no pills in Smith’s stomach and have determined that her death was caused by either “natural causes,” “due to some medical and chemicals,” or “a combination of natural causes and medications.” It will take another three to five weeks to fully determine the exact cause of her suspicious death. I had heard that Anna’s Mother or Mother -in-law, was also going to fight for costudy of her grandbaby. I hope that whoever gets that baby wants her for the right reason. Whoever gets her gets the rights to anna’s money too. I do hope the person that is rewarded coustedy of her is going to love her and guide her on the right path in life and be thare for her no matter what. It is a shame that her mother died so young in life.
