Rocker Scott Stapp welcomes a baby girl
Scott Stapp, former Creed frontman, and his wife are the proud parents of a baby girl, reports People.
Born yesterday in Miami, Milan Hayat Stapp weighed 6 lbs., 7 oz. and measured 20 inches in length. Stapp’s rep explained the meaning behind their daughter’s name. “Milán has been chosen from Scott’s Cherokee heritage for its definition, which is ‘to have the creativity of God.’ Hayat is from Jaclyn’s Jordanian upbringing and is simply ‘to give life.’ ”
This is the first child for the couple. Stapp has an 8-year-old son, Jagger, from a previous relationship.
Stapp and his wife Jaclyn, a former Miss New York, were married in February in Florida. Stapp ran into some legal trouble when he was not allowed to board the plane to go on his honeymoon because he was reportedly too drunk. Hopefully he has put that demon in his closet to rest!
Stapp has written a song for his daughter which will be on his next solo album. We will see if that song turns out to be the monster hit that “Arms Wide Open,” the song he wrote for Jagger, turned out to be.

Milan is not a Cherkoee word, Scott! Where did you take Cherokee lessons? Stop reinventing the Tsa la gi language. Cherokee speakers still live and read your lies.
