Singer Toni Braxton talks to Contact Music about her 3-year-old son’s Autism.Â
Braxton, famous for the hit ballads like “Unbreak My Heart,” feels like her doctors ignored her when she knew something was wrong with Diezel.
“They dismissed me. I don’t know if it would have made a difference or not for him to be diagnosed earlier, but they had a ‘wait and see’attitude. It makes me so angry because a mother knows when something is wrong with her child.”
Braxton says she had to insist her child be tested further before she was taken seriously.
The soulful singer and her husband, Keri Lewis, have two sons. Diezel Ky is 3 and Denim Cole is 4 1/2.

Yeah,I know exactly how she feels I too have a now 6 year old Autistic son that was diagnosed when he turned 2 and I was given the same attitude with his “Pediatrician” Its a shame….But all we can do is Pray and Hope for the Best!!!
