Maggie Gyllenhaal feeling “blissed out”
Actress Maggie Gyllenhaal opens up to USA Today about her pregnancy saying the experience has, “blown her away.”
Gyllenhaal, sister of actor Jake Gyllenhaal, is pregnant with her first child with fiancé Peter Sarsgaard. She met the Jarhead star at a dinner party three years ago.
Despite suffering through morning sickness during her first trimester, the 28-year-old actress says she is now feeling wonderful. “I feel blissed out. It’s part of it, all the hormones. It feels great. It’s a real intense experience.”
“As much as I tried to imagine what pregnancy would be like, it’s totally different,” she admits. “It’s blown my mind every step of the way.”
The World Trade Center star stays she does not know the sex of the baby, but “can’t wait” to meet her baby when he/she arrives in October. With the difficult last name of Sarsgaard or Gyllenhaal, I just hope they decide on a first name that is easy to spell!
