Mariska Hargitay (finally) has her baby boy
After a much-anticipated wait, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star Mariska Hargitay, 42,�� and husband Peter Hermann, 38, had a baby boy today.
The little tyke was a week late and required a C-Section to deliver all 10 pounds 9 ounces of this not-so-little bundle of joy, reports US magazine. This is the first child for the couple, who gave birth at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.
Hargitay’s brother and father, actor Mickey Hargitay, were both in attendance. No word yet on the name of the baby.��

That must be the biggest baby I have ever heard of being born to a famous person. Congrats to her for not inducing labor early to get a little baby who won’t damage the delicate celebrity tissue.

I’m not sure of the significance behind the name, but I’m sure Hargitay felt like little August would not be here until…well, August! I am so happy that she had her baby. I am in a different country than my home and it took me forever to find out if she had her baby. I know she will be a great mother.

HEy all, I am so proud that it is not all about HER and HER IMAGE…. as a fan of her and the show I am so glad that she is taking time off too be a mum and not do anything drastic as to distress baby well done…
