Brad and Angelina open up
New-father Brad Pitt opens up to People magazine about the birth of his daughter, Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt. Click here to see the first photo of Shiloh.
Sitting with new-mom Angelina Jolie, Pitt described the African birth as “truly peaceful.” He goes on to say, “I’d just like to thank the people of Namibia. They’ve been so gracious and made our stay here very special, and because of that we’ve had an incredible time with our family exploring the country, and (had) a truly peaceful birth of our daughter.” Jolie agreed, adding the experience was “an amazing adventure.”
What about the million dollar “marriage” question? “There is nothing in the air. The focus is the kids, and we are obviously extremely committed to the children and as parents together. So that kind of says it for us, and to have a ceremony on top of it is nothing,” Jolie says.
In case you didn’t know, Brad and Angelina love Africa. ”People were shocked that we chose to come here, and they thought we were putting our child’s life in danger. But we did our homework about Namibia. We want to tell the world how magnificent this country and the people are,” Jolie gushes. Pitt agrees saying, “We had top-notch medical care. We could not have received better medical care even in America.”
Giving birth in America is so last year.
