Dave Grohl & Jordyn Blum
The insanely talented singer/songwriter/drummer/guitarist/producer/etc. Dave Grohl — aka the frontman for Foo Fighters, aka the former Nirvana drummer — and his wife Jordyn Blum are expecting their first child together in early spring.
Thing is, the baby news wasn’t yet meant for public consumption. Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins (who previously worked with Alanis Morissette) let it slip during a chat with MTV.com. “We’re going to be touring Europe in January and February, but we’ve got be home by March, because Dave and his wife are having a baby,” he told the interviewer. Immediately realizing his boo-boo, Hawkins quickly added, “But I probably wasn’t supposed to tell you that.”
Oops.
The news was then confirmed by a label rep — which also helps to end months of fan speculation about a wee baby Grohl on the way.
